North Mole, Riverbank, Morgan Street Aspirations

As part of the Te Puwaha Port revitalisation project Horizons Regional Council ran a wide reaching community consultation to ascertain community aspirations for the North Mole, Riverbank and Morgan Street area of Castlecliff.

Numerous community members donated time and resource to the process over many community and focus group meetings and ultimately an aspirational vision emerged. While the learning and development always continues with any NRW project we have moved from wananga phase to funding and delivery phase.

We still need community and hapu ideas and support feel free to leave feedback in our comments section on facebook (here) or contact us regarding “buying a brick” to be used in construction or larger sponsorship and funding opportunities.

Below are the final artists impressions for a rejuvenated North mole, Morgan Street and River Bank area.
