Consolidated Vision

The Kawa requires us to look to the past to plan for our future. The future of our people, our environment, and the connections between. In collaboration with Whanganui District Council (Coastal Action Plan) we envisage a series of public wananga.

These would occur in person and also online. We would look in depth at the current environmental, social, cultural, spiritual and economic situation in our area, compare it to the past and work together towards a consolidated intergenerational vision for the future – Our goal? Mouri Ora, Mouri Awa, Mouri Tangata – social, environmental, cultural, spiritual and economic abundance. We are currently in the planning wananga phase for this mahi and will update as this develops.
